The Problem
The Tellapur Circle to RR7 stretch is used daily by residents, school transport, commuters and commercial vehicles. The condition of the road surface made travel difficult and unsafe, and repeated patchwork was not addressing the underlying condition of the stretch.
Our Action
Service4Society, led from the front by founder Goruganti Sridhar together with residents, consolidated the concerns of affected residents, documented the condition of the stretch and prepared a formal written representation seeking relaying of the road rather than temporary repairs.
Representation
Written representation submitted to the Deputy Commissioner, Patancheruvu Circle-46 (received 21 April 2026).
Follow-up
Continued communication with municipal officials, along with site-level discussions with residents about the stretch.
Result
The road relaying work was taken up and the stretch was relayed.
