About

About Service4Society

A citizen-driven platform where residents, volunteers, communities and authorities work together on the problems of everyday life.

Who We Are

Service4Society (S4S) is a citizen-driven community service organization serving Tellapur, Kollur and Patancheru, Telangana, India. S4S works with residents, volunteers and government authorities on civic development, environment, education, social welfare, culture and community, and volunteer participation.

Why We Exist

Most local problems are not unsolvable. They stay unsolved because nobody documents them, nobody knows which department is responsible, and nobody follows up. S4S exists to close that gap — to turn a complaint into a documented representation, and a representation into an outcome the whole neighbourhood can see.

Mission

To bring citizens, volunteers, communities and authorities together so that local problems are identified, represented, followed up and resolved — and so that people who need support receive it.

Vision

Communities where residents participate actively in solving the challenges around them, beginning in Tellapur, Kollur and Patancheru and extending to wider communities over time.

How We Work

People → Problems → Collective Action → Results. In practice that means: Listen → Organize → Act → Follow Up → Deliver Impact. Every civic issue we take up is documented, represented to the responsible authority and tracked until we can report what changed.

Volunteers

Volunteers are the organization. Residents who walk a stretch of road and document it, young people who photograph a plantation drive, professionals who help draft a representation, families who serve Annadanam — each contribution is community service. Join as a volunteer.

Founder

Service4Society was founded by Goruganti Sridhar, who serves as Founder, Service4Society. Read more about the founder.

Journey

S4S grew out of community leadership in residential communities in Tellapur, Kollur and Patancheru — water-flow and drainage work, resident safety, sustainability practices — and expanded into civic representation with authorities, environmental advocacy, cultural and seva activities, education support and welfare assistance. The work continues, and every documented initiative is published under Our Work.
